Product Introduction

Ginseng extract is extracted and refined from the roots, stems and leaves of the pannax plant ginseng. It is rich in 18 types of ginseng monomer saponins. It is soluble in water at 80°C and easily soluble in ethanol.

Production

Cut ginseng into thick slices, add water and decoct twice, 2 hours for the first time, is 1.5 hours for the second time . The decoction is filtered and combined, passing through a D101 macroporous adsorption resin column, and eluted with water till colorless, then it is eluted with 60% ethanol, and the 60% ethanol eluate is collected. The filtrate is concentrated to a clear cream with a relative density of 1.06~1.08 (80℃）, dried and crushed to get finished powder.

Reference Solution：

Preparation of the reference solution Take appropriate amounts of ginsenoside Rg1 reference substance, ginsenoside Re reference substance and ginsenoside Rd reference substance, accurately weighed, and add methanol to make each 1ml containing ginsenoside Rg1 0.3mg, ginsenoside Re 0. 5mg and A solution of 0.2mg ginsenoside Rd is available.

Preparation of the test solution: Take 30mg of this product, accurately weigh it, place it in a 10ml bottle, add methanol ultrasonic treatment to dissolve and dilute to the mark, shake well, filter, and take the additional filtrate to get it.

For the determination method, each 10 belg of the reference solution and the test solution are accurately drawn, injected into the liquid chromatograph, and measured, and the result is obtained.

There should be 7 characteristic peaks in the characteristic spectrum of the test product, of which 3 peaks should have the same retention time as the corresponding reference peak. 3 The peak corresponding to the ginsenoside Rd reference peak is the S peak. Calculate the characteristic peaks 3 to 7 Relative retention time, the relative retention time should be within ±5% of the specified value, the specified value is * 0.84 (peak 3), 0.91 (peak 4), 0.93 (peak 5). 0.95 (Peak 6) .1.00 (Peak 7).

Preparation of reference substance solution

Take an appropriate amount of ginsenoside Re reference substance, accurately weigh it, and add methanol to make a solution containing 1 mg per 1 ml, then it is ready.

This product is contains 15%~25% ginsenoside calculated as the sum of ginsenoside Rg1 (C₄₂H₇₂O₁₄), ginsenoside Re (C₄₈H₈₂O) and ginsenoside Rd (C₄₈ H₈₂O₁₈), on dry basis.
