Cistanche Tubulosa vs Cistanche deserticola
Due to Hetian Cistanche's low sugar content and high content of active ingredients, like echinacoside and verbascoside (ergoside) in fresh cistanche tubulosa ，varies from 1.5g to 4g in 100g, it is widely used in pharmaceuticals. The exported Cistanche is also made from that species.
