Centella asiatica extract powder also called powdered gotu kola extract mainly contains triterpenoid acids and triterpenoid saponins. Triterpene acids include Asiatic acid, Brahmic acid, Isobrahmic acid, Maclagasearic acid and Ix-lulinic acid. Triterpene saponins include Asiaticwide (see Figure 2-2), Madecassoside, Brahmoside, Brahmi noskie, Thankunisi&), Isoginseng Isothankuniside et al.

Prominent application

The asiaticoside and Madecassoside prove obvious effects on activating epithelial cells, promoting the formation of normal granulation tissue, preventing the occurrence of adhesions and alleviating the formation of adhesions.
