What is Phosphatidylserine ?
Phosphatidylserine powder or PS is also called compound nervonic acid. it is the active substance of cell membrane, especially in brain cells. Its function is mainly to improve the function of nerve cells, regulate the conduction of nerve impulses, and enhance the memory function of the brain. Because of its strong lipophilicity, it can quickly enter the brain through the blood-brain barrier after absorption, so as to soothe vascular smooth muscle cells and increase the brain increase blood supply.

How is PS made?
use Soy lecithin and L-serine are as raw materials, after phospholipase conversion, purified and concentrated, and then seconde purified , dried and packaged.
Why need to take PS?
It is proposed that normal people need 100-300 mg intake of pure phosphatidylserine daily.
According to statistics, the gap between the daily intake and normal people requirement of PS is between 70-150 mg while vegetarians lack in particular, reaching 200-250 mg.Therefore, this is even more important for vegetarians, low-fat or low-cholesterol diets and the elderly to take PS supplement.
Is it Safe ?
PS saftety is well acknowledeged in South Korea, Japan, USA and China. It is safe to used as food ingredient in proper amount.
1. PS approved by the Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) in May 2006 to improve bad mood and enhance memory" to prevent Alzheimer's and other functions.
2. PS is credited the GRAS by U.S FDA in October 2006. That means PS can be used as a nutritional fortification in yogurt, milk powder, bread, powdered beverages and other foods as nutritional food.
3.PS (phosphatidylserine) was listed in the food (non-drug) list of Japanese food and drug HBM, and passed the individual review of food additives on February 5, 2010.
4. PS was approved as novel food ingredient by Chinese Ministry of Health (now renamed as the National Health and Family Planning Commission) on October 21, 2010.
