The raw medicinal materials are crushed, extracted with dynamic ethanol. the extract is filtered and stored in the rear volume storage tank after plate condenser ; the extract is sucked into the reduced pressure concentration tank to recover the ethanol to a certain volume, and the concentrated liquid is suction filtered and the filtrate is sucked into the reduced pressure concentration tank. Concentrated to more than 25 Baume (thermal test) . After adding the dispersing agent to the mixer, slowly add the thick extract while stirring to make it evenly mixed and pass through a 60-mesh sieve to get it.
This process is suitable for the production of kava extract containing 30% of kava pepper lactone. The content of the original medicinal material is not too high and the content of the extract is different, so the yield varies from 13% to 23%.
*Nervous system function
Anti-anxiety effect: Kava lactone can improve the attention, memory and responsiveness of patients with anxiety disorders, and make the patients in a relaxed state, but its effect is slow. The University of Germany conducted a controlled experiment on 101 outpatients suffering from anxiety and obsessive-compulsive neurosis. The patients were given 100mg/day kava extract and placebo. After 8 weeks, the kava group had significant effects.
