Product Introduction

Olive leaf extract with a broad-spectrum antibacterial function. So far, the most active substance identified in olive leaves is oleuropein, a type of bitter monolayer saponins classified as seroiridoids. Oleuropein and its hydrolysate are the major active ingredients that are antibactrial.

French army colonel, Dr. Itian Pallas, MD, analyzed the composition of the leaves and isolated a crystallizable substance he named strychnine, a kind of bitter substance that he believed to have powerful antipyretic properties. This is also considered to be the beginning of modern research on olive leaf extracts.

Production Function

1. Lower blood pressure and high blood pressure:

Olive leaf extract can prevent and regulate blood pressure. Animal studies have shown that supplementing olive leaf extract (OLE) before or after the onset of hypertension yields similar positive results. OLE reduces the increase in blood pressure by reducing the production of LDL cholesterol. This also improves blood flow to the heart vessels. For the first stage of hypertension, OLE relieves tension and expands blood vessels, reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure. However, this effect on high blood pressure may not be seen in overweight people.

2. Strengthen the immune system:

Olive leaf and its extracts show natural antifungal, antiviral and antimicrobial activities, and can resist viruses that cause influenza and other infections. Due to its antiviral properties, it is also used to reverse changes caused by infections related to the HIV-1 virus.

Prolonged exposure to the usually unavoidable ultraviolet light is a common cause of skin diseases. OLEs have been used in skin care products as photoprotective agents to treat skin damage caused by ultraviolet rays. They also prevent the occurrence of cancers and tumor growth related to ultraviolet radiation by reducing the levels of specific enzymes.

3. Oleuropein helps prevent free radicals from damaging the skin and has anti-aging effects. Studies have shown that olive leaves can effectively heal wounds, especially inflammation.

The recommended dose by health professionals is one to two capsules with a total dose of 500 mg per day for prevention. When used to treat diseases, the dosage varies with the severity of the disease, but the range should be four to twelve capsules per day, or two to six grams of total extract.
