It is an alkaloid, generally the total alkaloids of matrine. The main ingredients are matrine, oxymatrine and sophora fruit. Alkali, oxysophocarpine, sophoridine, etc., with the highest content of matrine and oxymatrine. Matrine is a natural plant pesticide. Once the pests touch the drug, they will paralyze the nerve center, and then coagulate the body proteins, block the stomata of the pests, and suffocate the pests. This product is low-toxic to humans and animals and is a broad-spectrum insecticide. It has stomach poisoning and contact killing effect. In line with the direction of sustainable agricultural development, currently domestic matrine preparations include 0.3% matrine water, 0.8% matrine lactone water, 1% matrine solution, 1.1% matrine solution, 1.1% matrine Alkali powders, etc., these plant-derived agents have been used to control some pests of vegetables, fruit trees, tea, tobacco and other crops to achieve good control effects.

Main pests to be controlled

1. Various forest leaf-eating pests such as pine caterpillars, poplar zhou'e, American Bai'e, etc. are sprayed evenly with 1000-1500 times solution of 1% matrine soluble liquid during the 2-3 instar larvae occurrence period.

2. The leaf-eating pests of fruit trees such as tea caterpillars, jujube butterflies, golden moths and other fruit tree leaf-eating pests shall be sprayed evenly with 800-1200 times solution of 1% matrine soluble liquid.

3. Pieris rapae: about 7 days after the peak of adult egg laying, when the larvae are at 2-3 instars, use pesticides for prevention and control. Use 500-700 ml of 0.3% matrine solution per mu and add 40-50 kg of water to spray. This product has a good effect on young larvae and poor sensitivity to 4-5 instar larvae.

Note: It is strictly forbidden to mix it with alkaline medicine. This product has poor quick-acting effect. It is necessary to do a good job in the prediction and forecast of the pest situation, and apply the pesticide to control it at the early stage of pests.
